Pest Control for Cleanup Projects
1
Before Work Starts
Scenesafe’s main work is drug residue testing, biohazard cleanup and decontamination for vehicles and properties across Atlantic Canada. In Nova Scotia, we can also deal with pest activity related to a cleanup or recurring odour problem.
Based in Halifax and Truro, we can assess the active pest problem and the contamination it has left. The quote separates pest-control work from waste removal, cleaning, disinfection and odour treatment. Pest control is available only in Nova Scotia.
Rodent Activity in Walls & Insulation
When rodents may have reached house walls or insulation, our Rodent Inspection for Homes service provides paid inspection, investigation, contamination assessment and consultation, with written findings, a customized action plan and recommendations. The scope and fee are confirmed before booking. You can take the plan to general contractors and choose the best-value provider for each step.
Operating Scope in Nova Scotia
We hold a Nova Scotia Class IX Business Operator’s Certificate, with an operating scope covering Class II Structural and Class III(B) Greenhouse pest control. We confirm that each request is within our scope before accepting it.
Greenhouse requests are reviewed separately. Send the crop, signs of activity, affected area and any previous treatment so we can confirm whether we can take the work.
Separate Quotes and Charges
Pest control is quoted and charged separately from cleanup, disinfection, odour treatment and testing. Each service and any agreed discount are listed in the quote.
When pest control and cleanup are booked together, we may offer a reduced combined price, depending on the work. Cleanup alone does not prevent another infestation.
Request a Quote
Send the Nova Scotia site address, the signs of pest activity, any contamination or recurring odour, and clear photos if available. Include previous treatment and any limits on access. Pest control can also be requested on its own; we review whether the work fits our scope before quoting.
