In some cases, like in stolen vehicles or properties, certain items/materials may need to be removed or disposed of due to contamination.

Porous materials, such as carpets, upholstery, or insulation, are often difficult to fully decontaminate. Therefore, SceneSafe will carefully recommend safe removal or replacement. 
We also understand that some items may have personal or emotional value, and we always aim to balance safety with respect and sensitivity toward our clients’ belongings.

Do you charge for travel to Halifax or Truro?

We operate from bases in Halifax and Truro. We do not add a long-distance travel charge for jobs within Halifax Regional Municipality or Colchester County.
