The disposal of drug-related items, including syringes and needles, presents significant risks to individuals who may have contact with them. It is important to note that if these items are not handled correctly, there is a possibility of accidental contact with them through touching.In the case of an injury caused by a discarded needle, there is a risk of contracting tetanus, hepatitis or AIDS, or of coming into contact with drug residues. At the same time, handling syringes and needles in a confined space is a high-risk operation. Therefore, we need to charge extra if any syringe or needle found in the clean-up site regardless of amounts. Scenesafe will dispose of the discarded syringes and needles in accordance with the EAP standards to ensure that you and those around you are not put at risk
